February 23，Electra Meccanica publishes an updated company logo depicting the evolution of the design as a historical starting point for the company as Intermeccanica. Electra Meccanica is born out of Intermeccanica, a company with a history of more than 50 years of automotive manufacturing in Europe, the United States and Canada. The original logo of Inter-Chanica contains a Bull, and the new design launched this "upgraded" this historic logo. The history and original logo of Inter-Mecanica is detailed description in Andrew McCredie's book Intermeccanica: The Story of the Prancing Bull. Compressing "Inter Mecanica" into "Meccanica" is another creative measure that simplifies the company's name while still reminiscent of "Intermeccanika" and "Meccanica" that the core part of the company.
The new logo will be used for the first time on the production model SOLO, and all subsequent models, including the recently announced Tofino electric roadster, will use the new logo.
