Red Hat Updated Logo Finally

- May 07, 2019-

Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, Red Hat is a world-leading provider of open source solutions. Its well-known products are Linux systems (free-use and free-spread Unix-like operating systems) and software integration packages Red Hat Linux. On October 28, 2018, IBM announced the acquisition of Red Hat for $34 billion.

On May 1st, local time, Red Hat announced a new LOGO design on its official blog. This is the first time that Red Hat has replaced the new LOGO since its launch of the LOGO in 1999. The new LOGO continues to retain the iconic red hat, but the original "shadow guy" wearing a hat officially disappeared from the new LOGO.

Red Hat said in a press release: "Today we officially launched a new brand LOGO, although we still like the previous version, but over time most companies will update their LOGO and vision systems to adapt to the current environment. Although our logo has all its symbolic charm, it is unfortunate that it is no longer suitable for today's communication needs."
