Launched in August 2013, Slack is a popular team communication tool that integrates all the information interfaces in your work, such as GitHub, Skype, Dropbox, Lucidchart, etc. Thereby improving the efficiency of internal collaboration and improving the utilization of information.
On January 16, 2019, Slack released its brand new LOGO through the official website. Slack said: "We really like the original LOGO design. It is not changed for change, but it is no longer able to meet our existing work. We need a new and more concise image to work with Slack in services."
By working with Pentagram's partner Michael Bierut and his team, the newly upgraded LOGO solves many problems. First, the colors are clearly defined as four color combinations, which are easier to manage than the original eleven colors. In addition to using white in the background, Slack's unique purple color is retained as another major background color.
