Founded in 1984, An Post is Ireland's state-owned postal service provider. As a member of the Universal Postal Union, Ireland Post provides mailing (EMS, international express mail), parcel services, deposit accounts and other services throughout the country.
On March 13, 2019, Irish Post CEO David McRedmond announced the launch of a new brand image design. This is the first time that Ireland Post has updated its brand identity in 35 years.
The main difference between the old logo and the new logo is that the iconic wavy line (postage stamp) is deleted and replaced with plain text. The letter "O" in "Post" is expressed in a gradient nested form, which is intended to symbolize the changing service needs of the post office and the corporate vision of sustainable development.
